Friendly Fellowship
Friendly Fellowship meets from September through June on the 1st Thursday of the month. We meet at 11 a.m. for a time of singing, sharing each other's needs and praises and praying for each other. We sometimes have special guests who will come and present a program or devotional. The purpose of the group is for encouragement and fellowship for many the senior of our seniors. We have a home cooked meal after each meeting, which often lasts longer than the meeting.  If you would like more information please contact Norine Long.

New Senior's Housing
Main Street Church has acquired 30 acres of land in the heart of the North End for its future church campus. A critical part of our future vision is to provide quality housing for seniors. In light of this we are currently in conversation with Atlantic Baptist Senior Citizens' Homes Inc. about creating a Seniors Village that will include both assisted-living and independent-living apartments, with the possibility of additional levels of care in the future. We hope to provide the possibility for people to 'age in place' without having to move to a different property and be separated from spouses or neighbours.

While the project is a few years from being completed, we are taking names of people who would like to be contacted when we have concrete plans in place. If this describes you, please download the form fill it out and mail (or email) it to the church office.
