Sunday School Class
We invite you to join us each Sunday at Main Street Baptist Church. Our Sunday school class is conducted in Mandarin. Here you will meet new friends and learn about Jesus Christ, our Savior and friend. Come and share with us your thoughts and experiences as we learn together from the word of God, the songs of praise and personal testimonies. It is our prayer that as you get to know and trust Jesus you will experience the inner peace, the joy and a new outlook in life that He alone can bring.

ESL
An ESL class is offered on Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon for those wishing to improve their English conversation. Our aim is to have the students talking most of the morning in a comfortable small group setting.

There are two classes: a beginners' class with an emphasis on vocabulary and the correct speaking of simple sentences; and a high beginners / early intermediate class which concentrates on subjects that students will find interesting and helpful. Students are also able to get help with situations they encounter in their adjustment to Canada.

영어 교실 안내

매주 목요일 오전 10:00-12:00에 Main Street Baptist Church에 있는 Raymond Hall에서 영어교실이 있습니다. 이 영어교실은 영어회화를 향상시키고 싶어하는 모든 사람들을 위해 열려 있습니다. 수업의 목표는 참여하는 사람들이 편안한 분위기의 소그룹에서 가능한 많이 대화할 수 있도록 하는 데 있습니다.

영어교실은 초급반과 중급반이 있으며, 초급반에서는 단어와 간단한 문장을 정확히 말하도록 하는데 중점을 두고 있으며, 중급반에서는 학생들이 관심을 가지고 있거나 도움이 될 만한 주제를 다루고 있습니다. 영어교실에 참여하는 분들은 캐나다에 적응하면서 당면하게 되는 여러 상황들에 대해서도 도움을 받을 수 있습니다.
